Epsilon Nu Chapter
University of Delaware tradition since 1972
158 South College Avenue
Newark, Delaware
The Epsilon Nu Chapter was established at the University of Delaware in 1972 and was the first National Panhellenic sorority on campus. Alpha Phi was the first sorority in America to build and occupy its own chapter house.
Location, location, location! It should be important when deciding where to call home, away from home.

Our house is just one of the buildings on our Georgian-styled campus that invokes the beauty, history, and tradition at the University of Delaware. Our house is located in the heart of campus. It is convenient for attending classes for all seven colleges at our University. We are across the street from buildings such as Smith, Purnell, the Morris Library, and the beautiful Green. As well as down the street from the Trabant University Center and the rest of Main Street.
158 South College houses 54 lucky sisters! From the outside, our house has a classic wrap-around porch with a side deck, porch swing and rocking chairs, and accented with pillars. We have a foyer and living room on the first floor and a study, computer room, kitchen, and laundry room in the basement. Come 5 o'clock, you can hear the girls coming down the stairs and out-of-house girls stopping by for Chef Stephen's dinner! Every Thursday, we also have Sisterhood Dinner, where all the sisters gather for dinner that is catered by local restaurants.
We take pride in our house, and although it's a classic, we keep it fresh and modern.
This is the house where we call home, decorate for the holidays, lay out when it's sunny, gather for sorority meetings, watch our favorite television shows, and just hang out, because in the end, it's all the little things that we cherish.
